I discovered Ensemble Stars back in 2016, when I was a wee little adolescent. I only played it once but felt awkward about interacting with these male characters. I knew a friend of mine was a fan of Ritsu Sakuma, and in 2018, I asked them about a character that I might gel well with. They recommended Sora Harukawa because they knew that I loved rhythm games, and Sora is a pro gamer. I decided to download it again, but it took me a million years to choose a unit to produce. It was like choosing a starter Pokemon, only awful. I went with Knights because Ritsu was in it, and also because Leo caught my eye.
